Hello! Happy Monday Covers!
I had a quick search in the forum and couldn't see anything along these lines so I hope I'm not repeating.
One of the things I love about attending poetry workshops is that I learn about poets who I might not have found on my own. So I thought it might be fun for us to create our own list of poetry themed recommendations: poets, poems, collections, podcasts, performances. Anything poetry themed. You can give a brief description about why you love that thing so much or you can leave it as a list.
I'll start. Some recommendations for me are:
What We Are Given by Ollie O'Neill (phenomenal collection. I cried so many times!)
Miss You. Would Like To Take A Walk With You by Gabrielle Calvocoressi
Ode to Spring Awakening by Sabrina Benaim (This is my poem. By 'my poem', I mean the poem I read over and over again to remind myself that I'm in a good place.)
I can't wait to see what you recommend :)
These are some lovely poems, I love them!
My recommendations:
The Opposites Game by Brendan Constantine gives me hope, makes me love the world
How to Be Together by Abby E. Murray
OCD by Neil Hilborn this one's quite famous I think but I still wanted to mention it :)
