You are off to colonise Mars. It's a one way ticket and you're quarantined in a governmental location before launch. The last and only thing you are permitted to do is write a poem to someone.
A) who is it to?
B) which form do you choose?
C) What theme do you pick?
You are also allowed to put one poetry collection into a capsule, which is it?
Just for fun and games...
a) All the people left on Earth
b) Limerick
c) Why we shouldn't take life too seriously.
To be honest I know very little about poetry collections. Maybe I'd but something like an Emily Dickinson collection or even Charles Bukowski
A) My mentor
B) Free verse
C)Theme is gratitude.
They took me in when I was my most vulnerable and force me to transform my existence.
Granted I do struggle mentally from time to time, however,I like to thank them for plucking me out of my mental state and transform for better.
Poetry collection would be of Epics i written all way back from high school junior-senior year to most recent one, about social media addiction.
Ooof! Amazing question!
A) My nephew
B) Free form because who has time to rhyme? (Clearly me lol)
C) As for theme, all of my poems to my nephew are about how much I love him but I guess I'd want to write about how anything is possible.
Capsule collection: This is tough. Everyone should know how much I love No Matter The Wreckage by Sarah Kay. However, I've recently been captivated by What We Are Given by Ollie O'Neill so I might go with that one.
