Apologies if this has already been said... feel free to remove if it has (says the site owner hahaha 🙈 I know Rachel posted about favourite ways to write, but I'm wondering if anyone here has a favourite spot? I can't usually write out in the open, I have to feel enclosed somewhere... but I know some of you only write in the open, or in certain spots... so I'm curious, where are they, and do you have any photos of your Poet's Corner?!

Favorite writing spot is from my bed.
Most of my work came from my room.
Interesting,considering I wrote first draft of poetry/chapbook on sofa chair(well,most of it,anyway).
Having earphones on all the time,Drowning out the noise of current reality, helps me get into flow state.
My favourite writing spot is the corner of my sofa or besides a window when it's raining outside. I get a new energy and inspiration when it's raining 🙂
If I am writing poetry (first draft) currently my favourite place will be a cafe or other place that serves latte. I do the editing on my laptop on the kitchen table. I can look outside and watch blackbirds bathing in the water bowl and there is a light directly above the table. This is where I write articles and blog posts too.
The place I write the most is in my favorite corner of the sofa. Or somewhere outside where it is a beautiful view. If I get enough inspiration I can block out anything and be in my bubble in a crowd. Photo from a park in London I visited sometime ago.
I guess my favourite place would be my home office (if you can call it that?) It's my space and I have all my stationary and everything and I'm left alone. I did used to write in the work kitchen on my lunch break because even though people were there, I would put my earphones in and be left alone. I do sometimes write outside in the garden but I'm usually there with my family and I always feel self conscious writing in front of my family. I guess my answer is somewhere where I'm left alone.
Please see attached a picture of me with my journal in my home office. You can see part of a guinea pig cage, my collection of guinea pig water bottles (I hoard them 'just in case'), some of my books, my DVDs, a stack of poetry books on my printer (I'm planning a workshop and it's both exciting and terrifying).
