At The Poetry Cove Forum, we are dedicated to bringing together poets from all over the world. We believe that poetry can be a powerful tool for connection and community, and we want you to have a place where you can explore your craft in an environment that is friendly, welcoming, and supportive.
We are committed to providing this space for you because we believe that everyone deserves a chance to express themselves creatively and share their work with others who share their interests.
We hope you will join us in creating an open-minded, accepting, and supportive community of people who can help each other grow as poets.

Day: 3
Prompt: "Found Words"
Pick up a newspaper, leaflet, receipt, or any piece of text around you. Choose 7 random words and use them all in a poem.
It was a bit of a busy day, so I didn't have time to think about this and just wrote something, and it shows. I honestly don't like this one much and see very little it in. So, it's a swing and a miss. Oh well. LOL
The first thing I saw was a can of liquid electrical tape, so I chose my words from the directions on the back of the can.

Sealed
Is life truly a sealed fate we face with its intervals of happiness, loss, pain, love, hate, and peace? A terminal flux succeeding in nothing, offering protection to no one.
Must we keep living as life’s brush paints us with its perceived fate, our own electrical pulses surging lies through our body’s senses?
Life is intervals of events succeeding one after another with choices unseen as we close our eyes in a falsehood of protection as we brush freedom away in the terminal disease of the comforts of life.
