Day 1: Your prompt is to write a poem that deceives, disguises, or delights in misdirection.
In the frosty foggy nowhere, the train rumbles down the tracks,
Between Berlin and Amsterdam, pen in hand I scribble notes,
Alarm bells start to ring, alas just a dream - I was asleep again.

When I saw the suggestion for a Sijo today it made me laugh a little, yesterday I was looking at some forms and came across the Sijo and decided, whatever the prompt is, I think perhaps I'll try my hand at that form. So... that worked out surprisingly well.
I spent some time trying to write something more clever, more deceptive, funnier... but it didn't quite come together. I then thought about writing something purely silly in limerick form before coming back to the Sijo, and though perhaps an obvious twist I turned a reality into a dream.
