1) My phone, journals, and the ashes of my cats. I would also want to help my daughter and husband save three things each too.
I have had to leave everything behind more than once (water/mold damage plus my daughter's mold allergies caused this). As a result, I am not really attached to things. The first move was hardest. We had to leave our Pennsylvania rental with the clothes on our backs, because we were so sick from the mold in the house. We did not discover the extent of the mold damage until we started moving furniture. We just stopped, put everything in storage with the help of friends and left. . This is the short version. We had to make several moves afterward to leave the mold behin; and each time, I became less attached to objects to the point where I became a minimalist as a defense. This said, I think it would be easy to pick three things.
The first one is rather sweet! Is your wife a poet as well?
For me it would be:
My USB. Everything is on there.
A photo album of memories my close friend (whom I've been friends with since we were 4) made for me on my 21st birthday.
My Tiffany & Co. ring I bought for myself after I moved out. (also because it set me back $500AUD!)
Poetry journals,books and folders.
My glasses,so I can see.

Love letters is so cute.
1. Tubs of photos and keepsakes including love letters between me and Cath circa 1987 😍
2. Strong biceps moving my vinyl collection! Too ill to carry anything at the moment though.
3. Paintings from my wonderful niece Zoe and Sister in law Louise. ❤
Oh man, that first one melted my heart bro!
Great topic, let's see.
1) Back up hard drive because it has my entire life's work on there. @Sophie calls me a boomer for that because I don't use G Drive.
2) A trough in my garden that has my little Daisie's ashes buried in.
3) By some miraculous feat I grew the largest biceps and was able to carry out my bookshelf?
Is that last one cheating?
