I would say poetry cove, but thats such a cop out.
This may sound weird,I found a new relaxing place,at a deli.
Biggest reason, theres a picture of a play i did in my senior year, call Les Miserablě.
And when I went there, took in my surroundings,I saw picture of Les Mis.
Picture appears to calm me down, one of these days,I shall be back in theatre.
Hell, would love to be on big film screens.
Oh I will miss those movie theaters when all said and done.
However, old saying goes, there's no place like home!!!!!!!!!
Weird how I only did 2.5 years in theatre and still call it home lololol.
So thank you deli for relaxation, great food and will visit back there again sometime.
What about you lovely Covers?????
My favourite relaxing place is a bar called Kent St. near where I used to live. It's the only bar and place I know of that serves coffee at all times of the day and night. I go there to read, write poetry, and hang with friends. The people who run the place are some of the most genuine, down-to-earth people I've met, and it's a unique little establishment that attracts the most interesting people. I've even made a few friends! It's a grungy little dive bar, but I've had some lovely memories here. The photos don't do justice:
And yes, I have definitely dedicated a poem to this place :P
Since puppy arrived I literally have NO PLACE TO HIDE. Not even the bloody men's room!
My favorite place to relax is in my room, on a rainy evening, with coffee shop jazz ambient music playing, a drink, and a good book to read. Best place on earth in my opinion. Though, I wish there was a bookshop that was also a cafe where I lived. That would literally be my new hotspot if there was.
Where I live there is a port. If you go there early in the morning when the water is smooth and like a mirror and the boats are quiet and a few yawning people are getting ready for sailing or diving.
This is the most relaxing place in the world.
My favourite relaxing place was my grandparents house, though it's not theirs anymore. Just felt like love, you know?
Don't really have a regular haunt other than my sofa these days 🤣 although I do find churches & relaxing. Our village church is rarely in use beyond a Sunday so it's a good place to sit quietly and think.
