I have discovered a love of gardening, specifically growing things from seed. There's something about forced patience that has really helped with my anxiety and racing thoughts.
I also make 12 scale miniatures out of recycled materials. Again this was something I started to help with my mental ill health, but I'm now looking to make items to sell, so I guess that's no longer a hobby?
I watch US court live streams. It began with the Jodie Arias case, but I see a lot more people doing it since the Depp-Heard case. It started as character studies for my books, but found the legal process fascinating, and have learnt so much.
Poetry is also a hobby for me, I dip in and out of it when inspiration strikes, and regularly toy with the idea of putting out a collection, but consider it's all so autobiographical, I kind of wonder who would want to read or care 🤣
I write poems, I paint, draw, make things, crochet, read, study, emerse my self in nature, I share opinions, practice Kundalini yoga, and when I had a piano, I played music. I spend time with family, talk to friends, and watch Rancy Rainbow videos. There is so much that I love to do...oh yes, and then there is my day job (academic advisor at a college). I like my day job, but at this point in life, there are so many other things I want to do.
I do music with other musicians I sing we do covers but also I’ve put my poetry/lyrics to music at times as well. I also DJ I DJ under the name of DJ Jophiel I mix other peoples music and have my music mixes on SoundCloud. It’s a great bit of fun! I love music! I also like photography as well as art, history, space science, conspiracies, movies and nature.
I don't have a whole lot, but I typically bounce around between hobbies. I like to go for nature trail walks, sometimes I photograph things, I play video games once in a while to pass some time, but most of my time is dedicated to writing stuff. Oh, and I have a small library of books that I've read or have meant to read, hard keeping track these days. I usually enjoy reading high fantasy novels or other adult fiction that gets my attention.
A new hobby I've taken up is fire staff spinning!I used to do a bit of fire juggling in my younger days. Nice to be getting back into using my body for more than just moving about
I also love movies. I also love to binge watch programs.
I love nature and I love to be in nature. To me it is pure wonder, especially after being cooped up in a <300 sq ft appartment in NYC (with a view of brick wall) for 120 days duriung the start of COVID. That experience aged me, but then once I was free, my joy was boundless. as was my gratitue. I also love watching Rady Rainbow videos. Randy's humor helped us to survive the pandemic and the horribile four years+ we endured under the would-be dictator of the United States. Randy Rainbow videos are not political, just fun and I found myself making time to watch every new video that came out. I also love to draw, paint, and watch/listen to birds.
Actually, I have tons of hobbies (in addition to writing). : )
I enjoy singing, dancing, listening to music, crochet, embroidery and baking😁
I love drinking craft beers and looking at the sky. I guess these are hobbies?

Other than that, I love movies and television shows, mostly dramas for TV. My favorite is probabky Hreaking Bad or Better Call Saul because I’m basic af.

I also enjoy listening to podcasts while I work from home (Casefiles and The Office Ladies are my go to), writing my novel, art, embroidery and cross-stitching, being social I guess, reading up on history/watching historical biopics, and amateur 35mm photography.
