I don't think there's a thread on this (many apologies if there is!)
A few weeks ago, I started a thread about what songs you wished were written about you. Now I want to know what you're listening to right now. Songs, earworms, audiobooks, podcasts. What are you listening to?
I'll go first: Box of Oddities podcast (incredible - would recommend if you're into weird subjects)
the album Sour by Olivia Rodrigo
And finally... Born to be Brave from the soundtrack of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Don't judge me. I've loved High School Musical since I was thirteen. I'm also feeling very anxious at the minute and this song gives me all the seratonin.
Your turn.
My music tastes are always in a constant state of flux and discovery. I simply enjoy music in general. I'll listen to everything save for Opera and Scream.
The song I'm listening to right now is 'Lonely Bones' by The Honest Heart Collective. I would consider it to be Rock Alternative, and is reminiscent of some of my childhood artists I listened to a lot in high school such as Daughtry, Train and a lot of punk rock bands.
I listen to music based on my current mood for the most part. I've gotten into a punk rock revival mood as of late though.
Lannon-Heaven's Gate
Beautiful messages throughout song.
A great 3 man group called Morphine. I am a huge fan of the saxophone. I call it "saxy" phone. š
Perhaps a tiny bit off topic, assuming we're talking music but I haven't been able to stop listening to Faber's Poetry Podcast!
At this exact moment Iām listening to a song called āLaser Cannon Deth Sentenceā by a metal band called Dethklok
before that it was bluegrass music lol. I love guitar pickers like Tony Rice and Billy Strings
Hey, no judgment here. I tend to hit the cruise control while driving and "break free" when no ones looking!š Right now I'm listening to:
I will start with Hymn #101 by Joe Pug. If anyone decides to listen please reply and let me know what you think. I really think it is a song that should be shared among poets. (that entire short album is insane)
Cavalry by Mandolin Orange.
The Universe by Gregory Isakov
Faustina by John Miller
No Hard Feelings by Avett Brothers
Night After Night by Laura Marling
The Calm and Crying Wind by Trampled by Turtles
