Welcome home!
At The Poetry Cove Forum, we are dedicated to bringing together poets from all over the world. We believe that poetry can be a powerful tool for connection and community, and we want you to have a place where you can explore your craft in an environment that is friendly, welcoming, and supportive.
We are committed to providing this space for you because we believe that everyone deserves a chance to express themselves creatively and share their work with others who share their interests.
We hope you will join us in creating an open-minded, accepting, and supportive community of people who can help each other grow as poets.

I'm grateful for online friends
Today I am grateful for the return of longer days
Grateful for the rain.
Love the rain, enjoy it since it doesn't rain every day from where I live.
Also, poetry, for allowing me to process my truth.
Sound of thunderstorms.Dancing in the rain, anyone?????
I am grateful to be alive and have a solid roof over my head. 2020 was a tough year for everyone, but it also was a year that opened doors for me as an author and poet. New technologies have created opportunities and expanded my horizons. There is MUCH to be grateful for and I feel blessed.
I am grateful for the fact that I still wake up every morning. For the people that cheere me on when I mostly need it. For my ability to write. For my timeless soul. But I am also grateful for the little things. A hug, a supportive message, a flower, a good cup of coffee, time to read a book, a silent conversaition and a full moon.
What a beautiful video. What a dear heart. Blessings sweet soul. : )
I was thinking more about this question last night and realized that I am very grateful to The Poetry Cove. It has been such a pleasure to meet so many fine poets and to have a place to share and talk about poetry. I have spent years on Allpoetry.com which is a good place to post and there are some wonderful people and poets there, but it doesnt feel like a community the way The Cove does. This site, and all of you have been a blessing. Thank you!!!!
My husband, daughter and I were in great peril last year as we tried to survive in our tiny Manhattan apartment from March - July while New York City was one of the COVID-19 epicenters.
Both Tara and Gene have pre-existing conditions that would have made them especially vulnerable to COVID-19. Our apartment faced a brick wall so there was no light and I was the only one who was able to leave (and only to get mail, bring in deliveries and remove trash). The neighbors did not wear masks, so it was nerve-wracking.
We were finally able to get out with the help of family. Though it was hard to leave a place we loved, we couldn't be safe there. We are now in the suburbs in a spacious 2Br apartment with magical views. Every day, I see the sky, hear birds, and feel the breeze from an open window I am so grateful to be alive
We are still waiting to get vaccinated as New York does not have enough vaccine, but that's okay. I'm just so glad to be alive. : )
Sunlight pours through finger printed window,
Music pumps from radio,
I sip morning latte.
Today I tried vanilla latte, think I have a new favourite beverage. I am grateful for being able to enjoy a latte and write poetry.
Netflix binges and children's movies 😂
late night phone calls and the spring air :)
A window to look out from. That's all I got right now! 😆
