Hello everyone,
I wanted to create a special post on our poetry forum today, something a bit different from what we usually discuss, but incredibly important. As many of you know through my YouTube channel, the past five years for me have been a journey through some very dark times, marked by struggles with depression and addiction. It hasn't been an easy path, and there were moments where hope seemed like a distant dream.
However, what has stood out during this challenging period is the unbelievable support and warmth I've received from all of you - my YouTube subscribers. Your welcoming nature, your unwavering support, and your engagement in what I do have been nothing short of miraculous. It's hard to put into words how much this means to me, but I hope it comes across in every video and poem I share. Your presence has been a key element in my recovery, filling me with energy, motivation, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Interestingly, I've received several messages from some of you saying that the livestreams and content I've been sharing have been helpful in your own lives too. This feedback is incredibly heartwarming and reinforces the idea that we're not just individuals behind screens; we're a community, a network of support for each other.
So, this post is both a heartfelt thank you and an invitation. It's a thank you for being there, for showing me the power of community, and for helping me find my way back to light and creativity. It's also an invitation for all of you to share your own stories, struggles, and triumphs if you feel comfortable doing so. Let's use this space to celebrate the power of our community. We're here for each other, in good times and bad, in darkness and light.
The beauty of poetry, art, and expression is that it connects us on a profound level, transcending individual experiences and creating a tapestry of shared human emotions. Let's continue to build this community, to be a source of strength and inspiration for each other.
With that said, I open the floor to all of you. Feel free to share your experiences, your struggles, your victories, or simply express what community means to you. Remember, you're not alone, and together, we can be a force of positivity and change.
I’ve struggled with depression and addiction myself, I understand where you are coming from, that can make it hard to connect with new people. I’m glad you have created this space.
