The Cove's Highlight Of The Day Thread

So we have the Good News Thread where we celebrate each other's wins (no matter big or small). On a similar note, I want a thread to share our highlight of the day. In my journal, I always write one highlight of each day and it helps me find something good even when I'm feeling sad. Like the good news thread, it can be big or it can be small. The other day, my highlight was singing in my car on my way home from work.

My highlight today (18/09/2021) was my nephew's fifth birthday party (where I met Spiderman!)

I find it lifts my spirits to think about a highlight for each day. Today was freezing cold, wet and windy so I have stayed inside all day. Well, almost all day. There are three crested pigeons that eat seed from my hand. We have named them Charles, Betty and Steve. I went outside to feed them when two of them looked in through the glass pane by the side door, trying to get my attention. I just had to feed them seed from my hand!
