I haven't wrote in so long!😟 Even my walks are comping up empty. This pandemic definitely takes a toll on artits in so many ways. Though, socially crippled at times I must live! Going out and breaking new barriers. Even the anxious ones that don't get better, but the thrill being rewarding each time. At this point a hug sounds poetic. I'm going to buy my first prompt book. Any tips on prompt books?

Confinement and lack of social experience are definitely hard for artists, as those ar necessary ingredients for art to be made.
I think it’s important to make a frequent effort to write anything , even if you hate it. The bad stuff will come out, you’ll get the gears turning and then the good stuff will come. Additionally, it’s super important to consume - listen t music, read new poets, watch good films…
A prompt book isn’t a bad idea - but I’ve only ever used the “500 prompts” books you find at Barnes and Noble.
Happy writing buddy!
