I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to film.

I know a lot of you guys are into fantasy and legend. I just finished watching this epic from 2021, highly recommend it.
I'm hoping to see this in the near future. It's out this weekend. I hate dog films because I always cry but I can't get enough dog films either so.
This, was the second film I've watched this year(after Beowulf) and will say, this film will be difficult to top.
Score, characters, scenes, tension, and I can go on but WOW!!!!!!!
While long, the journey from beginning to end is breathtaking.
The Good,The Bad,and The Ugly
Has anybody watched Encanto yet?
I saw it in the cinema before Christmas but it's on Disney + already and I don't think I've watched it without crying. Honestly. I cried in the cinema. Apparently, the song 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' made it to number 1.
Did anybody catch the new Matrix yet?
Hi Covers
Last night a watched Belfast. Kenneth Branagh's childhood movie. Its semi-autobiographical and I slept through most of the first half of the film. It's very slow. The acting in general is excellent but the story never really gets going until the end. The best thing I can say about it is at least it's only an hour & a half long. I wish I'd given it a miss.
Okay so Sophie and I randomly watched a film after googling ‘poetry films’ and we found this:
Obviously not going to give anything away. But it’s certainly a talking point! Not at all what we were expecting!
Okay, while I won't say Back To The Future is the BEST movie,I will say,its a joyful film to experience.
At least once in your lifetime.
And if you choose, year long tradition.
For all the true romantics here :
Solaris
A tragic love story set in space. I must have watched it 20 times.
I'm not into superhero films, did try to watch all James Bond films, then I gave up,there's just alot of James Bond to watch.I will say,who ever makes bank on those tickets will be ready for the winter.
I beg your pardon,Adam.
There's probably a lot to catch up on here, with the new James Bond, but I read in the news today that the new Spider-Man film has sold out already and tickets are being sold online at £200! That's madness! I was so against the Marvel trend for the longest time! Everything seemed to be a superhero movie at one point. Eventually I gave in and I love going to a Marvel film now, they're just pure wonderful escapism!
Looking forward to the new Spider-Man! Has anyone seen the new James Bond?
