My go-to threads are general discussions, poetry discussions, share your poetry and get feedback on your poetry. I'm about a week behind critiquing some of the poems there but I'm clearing out all my to-do tasks tonight. I haven't forgotten about them and I thoroughly enjoy doing the extensive dissections! It's just been a busy week for me.
I will be honest, I have tried to connect with a few people in some of the posts, and on more than one occasion, I got no engagement or reply at all, hence I thought it was fair to slow down on replying... I would like engagement to be mutual. I don't know if that's ok to say but I can't be the only one who feels a bit left out of some circles. Not sure why.
Having said that, the positives are truly overwhelming. I've made lovely friends here who I connect with on an almost regular basis, so it definitely isn't all doom and gloom- it's the opposite! But yeah, ultimately I would like to engage with some others here but maybe they don't want to.
So, 8 days later and there are... 10 likes. Interesting...

Hi Bendy! I like your paraphrase quote very much because it is so true. I've done some long-distance hiking, and you always ask the people you meet going the opposite way about the trail ahead. Take care.
