I just wanted to take the time to give a special thank you, and some shoutouts, to all of my Cove Family! The Cove has undoubtedly helped me in many different ways on a personal and professional level.
I initially found The Poetry Cove through Adam's social media accounts. It was fantastic to see an engaging poetry community. One of my greatest fears of sharing my written works online stems from discomfort and no interactions. The Cove has been a home away from home for me. I can't explain enough how rare it is to find a community such as this, especially with an online presence. For this, I'm certainly grateful. Not just to everyone involved but also for the sanctuary that this home from home has become.
Now, this is where I start giving out some shoutouts. Firstly, I want to thank everyone who has liked my posted content—even those who didn't engage in the comments. I need to congratulate @Adam Garyand our fellow administrators for coming up with this beautiful idea and bringing it to life. I also would like to thank Adam for providing so much support in all the posts he's engaged with. Your support has helped boost my morale when at times, I've personally felt unworthy of the praise. (One of the perks of second-guessing myself.)
I also want to thank @Bendy Nguyen and @Matthew Hutchins for providing insight into their poetry editing process. At the time that when I proposed an editing question in the forums, I hadn't ever really took stock in the editing process. I usually write naturally and let my imagination take hold like a feathered friend soaring freely in the sky. But now I've seen how vital that editing process is.
I want to thank @Eanwen for taking the time to process my poem "Tradition" and provide some constructive feedback for improvements. I enjoyed our thoughtful discussions and am looking forward to more soon.
Lastly, I would like to thank @Rachel Glass for her interest in the writer's block article I wrote. I appreciate you sharing all your writer's block experiences with me. It was both enlightening and helped me to understand another person's point of view better.
Thank you, Poetry Cove & friends, for being such a huge influence. Thank you, administrators, for selecting me as a member of the month! I appreciate the sentiment and am looking forward to engaging in our community even further. Thank you!
Having a tough time of it at the moment, so re-reading this has made me smile! This really is such a lovely post! Thank you Ken!
