Hey everyone! I know there’s a general thread for Cove merch, but I had the idea in there to do a sub thread in important poetic places! Well today I found myself doing an Oscar Wilde day, and Sophie and I are having a toast to him in his old boozer on King Street called The Golden Lion!
Sticking with Rob‘s grave theme, Sophie and I stopped at Allen Ginsberg’s grave.
I've finally taken my Cove Poe t-shirt to see Sylvia Plath's grave in Heptonstall, West Yorkshire.
I'm sure E A Poe and Sylvia are friends in the afterlife. I was hoping to get some crows in shot, or at least a magpie.

This is a fun idea! Also you two are very adorable ^_^ I've been meaning to pick up some PC merch for ages and will probably order some stuff before the end of the week. The only historical places I can think of in Melbourne and Victoria off the top of my head are 1. Hanging Rock (from the infamous 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' where multiple disappearances/murders allegedly took place) and 2. a gelato place that was not too far from the last place I lived where a lawyer was murdered by the mafia. Unfortunately in Melbourne, since it is such a 'new' city historically, the only historic things that have taken place in the last 100 years or so involve true crime :\ But it should still make for an interesting photo opportunity!
Obviously I'll be wearing my Poe t-shirt.
It's very gothic so will suit the surroundings!
That's brilliant have a pint for me! I'm planning a trip to Sylvia Plath's grave. Maybe this weekend. I'll get some pics on the thread when I go!
I ordered your book a couple of days ago for my birthday. I can't wait to get through it, probably in the early hours 😩.
