I don't live in the UK anymore but I remember, with a mixture of tears and laughter, pain and pleasure, the tradition of spending 10 hours in the centre of the city buying presents for friends and family.
I say remember because where I live know we don't have that same kind of madness.
Anyway it got me thinking about presents I've received throughout the years and what were the best and the worst.
The Best:
When I was about 9 years old I got my first non - kids bike. It was a racer wth 5 gears and I remember the feeling of zooming around, pure freedom and there were less cars back in those days, cerca 1980!!
The Worst:
Back in my first incarnation when I was married before in England someone decided to buy my wife and I am expensive rug for our house. It was sometype of hideous design that is impossible to describe in words. Obviously we had to put it on the floor in case they ever popped around to visit.
What about you guys? Any fond memories of great and shit prezzies?
Yes this is a great post... I also have to think on that one
Awesome post Marc! I can relate to the shopping madness! Is this on Oxford Street and the like? š±š±š±
Best present: Harry, although the stress he causes at the moment clouds that opinion at times. But he is slowly growing into himself and settling into the house now. Yesterday he nailed recall so Iām a proud dad at the moment.
Worst present I am going to have to really sit and think on this one!
